William III turner, bodle or twopence, 1695. Shows a crowned flat sword and sceptre on the obverse, with the inscription 'GVLIELMVS.DG. MAG. BR. FR. ET HIB. REX' (William by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King).

The reverse of the coin depicts a crowned thistle, and the inscription 'NEMO ME IMPVNE LACESSET', (no-one shall hurt me with impunity), followed by the date, 1695.

These coins were the last Scottish copper coins issued before the Act of Union in 1707.
