Apex of a foliate gable
This fragment is the apex of a heavily decorated gable, embellished with foliage across the front and sloping sides. Angular branches are carved under the foliage on the sides of the gable. The remains of a head with leaves curling across its brow is carved in the middle of the gable. The bottom half of the head has been lost, but it is possible that it was a green man with foliage emanating from the mouth.
